MANILA, Philippines – A lucky lotto player from Pasig City won the P73-million jackpot prize of the 6/49 Super Lotto online game of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Tuesday night.
Conrado Zabella, assistant general manager for online lotto operations, said the winning ticket for combination 05-03-22-30-33-32, which carried a jackpot prize of P73,341,252, was sold at the lotto outlet of Armando Quintong at 11th Light Homes, Sta. Lucia, Pasig.
This is the second time since January that a Pasig resident won the jackpot prize of the Super Lotto.
The first was on Feb. 22 when a Pasig player shared the biggest lotto pot of P347 million with a 50-year-old woman from Caloocan City.
The first winner from Pasig, however, has not claimed his or her prize.
Zabella said the prize of the Super Lotto game is now back to P16 million.
The prize of the Power Lotto, which is drawn every Saturday, rose to P63 million after nobody won the winning combination last week.
Last year, it took a week before a 61-year-old construction worker from Novaliches, Quezon City claimed the second biggest jackpot win amounting to P249 million. – Perseus Echeminada
