MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday that a lucky resident from Batangas City won the P85,153,057.20 jackpot of the 6/49 Super Lotto online lottery draw last Thursday night.
Conrado Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager, said the ticket that hit the winning combination of 32, 18, 15, 28, 2, 3 was bought at the SM lotto outlet in Batangas City.
“The winner played the system 7 game, which means that he picked seven numbers for the six-digit combination,” he said.
Larry Cedro, PCSO spokesman, said the lucky player is the 157th member of the so-called Super Lotto millionaires club who have won the jackpot, ranging from P8 million to P347 million, the biggest lotto jackpot that was drawn last month.
Two lucky players from the cities of Caloocan and Pasig shared the biggest jackpot prize. A 50-year-old woman from Caloocan has claimed her P173 million share of the jackpot, but the Pasig winner has not yet collected the prize.
