Mrs. Soliven to speak at UST St. Thomas Moore Lecture

The University of Sto. Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters, which is celebrating its 40th (ruby) anniversary, holds its annual St. Thomas More Lecture at the Thomas Aquinas Research Auditorium from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 with Ambassador Preciosa S. Soliven, Ph.D., United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Philippines Secretary-General as guest speaker.
The distinguished educator is expected to discuss "UNESCO and 21st Century Technology of Education," UNESCO Social and Human Science Commissioner Prof. Jose David Lapuz said. Prof. Lapuz is also a UST International Political Science professor, and Rizalista la Vanguardia.
St. Thomas More is the patron of the UST Faculty of Arts and Letters. The annual lecture is delivered by men or women, who have excelled in arts and letters.
Ambassador Soliven will be welcomed by top university officials, Arts and Letters Dean Dr. Belen Tangco, faculty members and students.
