'Arab died of heart attack'
Police investigators said yesterday the Saudi Arabian tourist who was found dead inside a hotel room in Malate, Manila past midnight Monday died of heart attack.
Meanwhile, an ethnic Chinese was found dead and naked inside his boarding room in Sta. Mesa, Manila Monday night.
According to investigator Senior Inspector Ramos Bergonia, Ahmad Saud al-Marwan, 48, a retired employee of Saudi Aramco Oil Co., died of "cardiac arrest." "That's as far as an ocular inspection of the victim's body showed. There was no sign of struggle inside the victim's room when we processed the scene of the crime. There was no visible signs of foul play," Bergonia said.
Investigation showed Al-Marwan died in his bed at Room 301 of the Pearl Garden Apartel at 1700 M. Adriatico st., Malate, Manila, after entertaining a 19-year-old woman visitor past 10:50 p.m.
Meanwhile, police are still investigating the cause of death of Bun Tan Lim, 59, a Chinese trader from Amoy, China.
Lim's body was discovered by Jose Ramirez past 9:30 p.m. inside the victim's room at 351-A Altura st., Sta. Mesa. Probers found no external signs of injury on the victim's body. Ramirez told police Lim rented one of the rooms at the second floor last May 6.
