MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Arena was in a lively party mood with Harry Styles performing some of his best songs over the past few years as he returned to the country for the first time in five years.
The British singer had last performed in the Philippines back in 2018 to promote his epnoymous debut album, and before that in 2015 he was joined by his fellow One Direction members several months before their indefinite hiatus.
But that didn't stop Harry from making a good selection of songs from "Harry Styles," "Fine Line" and "Harry's House" — the latter having just won Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
Among the beloved hits Harry performed were "Sign of the Times," "Late Night Talking," "As It Was," and "Watermelon Sugar," crowd-pleasers such as "Satellite," "Treat People With Kindness," "Matilda," and "Daylight," and even One Direction's own first single "What Makes You Beautiful."
Other highlights included an improvised Banana Song during the encore and Harry helping out a fan propose to "Sign of the Times."
