Siklab Alfonso unveiled

MANILA, Philippines — Team Siklab Alfonso has introduced the team it is bringing to battle in the Maharlika Pilipinas Pickleball Tour (Angeles, Pampanga leg) set Oct. 3 and 4.

Alfonso Mayor and team owner Randy Salamat, with team manager Keng Gaspar, oversaw the contract-signing for the players, including international tennis and pickleball champion Kim Sazara, Red Directo, Al Quiza, and homegrown talent Matthew Lao for the men’s squad as well as Medelene Sazara, Novi Melendez, Cindy Nuguit, and homegrown talent Dania Lee Abjuela for the women’s side.

Salamat said Team Alfonso was formed through a series of tryouts to select the best, ensuring they could put up a strong fight in the event that will also feature host Pampanga, Abra, Batangas, Bangued, Muntinlupa, Bacoor City, Camarines Norte, Rizal, Parañaque, Tacloban, and General Santos City.
