MANILA, Philippines — Singer and actor Janno Gibbs revealed that their family allowed Kathryn Bernardo to view Ronaldo Valdez in his casket during his wake.
In a report on "TV Patrol," Janno said Kathryn and Ronaldo were close so they permitted the actress to see their father.
“Kathryn was there, one of the firsts sa wake,” he said.
“She was the only one allowed to view. It was just immediate family plus they were really close,” he added.
After reports came out about the veteran actor's passing, Kathryn paid tribute to her "Lolo Sir" on Instagram as she posted several photos and videos of Ronaldo.
Kathryn and Ronaldo starred in the hit ABS-CBN teleserye "2 Good 2 Be True" with Kathryn's ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
Last September, Ronaldo was spotted attending the premiere night of Kathryn's "A Very Good Girl" film, riding an electric scooter.
Ronaldo also commented on Kathryn's Instagram post when she changed her hair to orange.
"Rebeldeh," he said with laughing emoji.
