MANILA, Philippines — In reaction to Philstar.com’s story last February 19 titled “Arci Muñoz, Brandon Boyd exchange 'I love you' signs at concert,” the Filipina singer and  the American frontman of the band Incubus have aired their side to clarify the real score between them.

In a Twitter post, Arci simply replied to Philstar.com’s report with "crying while laughing" emojis.

In her Instagram account, she also posted her pictures with the band, and a video where she is making the peace sign while seemingly whispering “I love Brandon.”

During a recent interview with the press following her launch as the first female Wrangler Philippines endorser, Arci stressed that she is “just friends” with the Incubus vocalist and his band mates.

She said she is particularly close to the band’s DJ, Chris Kilmore, and bassist Ben Kenney.

According to her, she tagged Brandon in a post about the report and the Incubus frontman replied, “So what is the love sign?”

Arci said, she told Brandon “I don’t know” and “Just don’t mind them” because she felt shy.

After Incubus’ concert on February 17, the band and Arci went to Nelly’s concert in The Cove for an after-party.
