MANILA, Philippines – Cristine Reyes’s partner Ali Khatibi is not affected with her love scenes with Zanjoe Marudo.
“Okay lang. Alam naman niya na work lang ‘yon,” she replied when asked about her partner’s reaction on her love scenes.
However, she admitted setting certain limits with the sexy scenes she will do, unlike when she was still single.
Cristine and Ali set to have an intimate wedding on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Cristine is happy to be working again with Zanjoe, through the ABS-CBN soap opera “Tubig at Langis.”
They ll portray the role of the married couple Natoy (Marudo) and Irene (Reyes). Their marriage will be tested when Clara (Isabelle Daza) enters the picture.
“Mas nagingcomfortable ako kay Z,” said Cristine, describing how it was to work again with her former leading man. “Kasi before medyo na-awkward ako kapag kasama ko siya. Hindi lang ako friendly, hindi ko siya kinakausap. Pareho kaming tahimik. So medyo this project nagkaro’n kami ng rapport.”
Despite their new-found closeness, the Kapamilya actress doesn’t meddle with the personal life of Zanjoe.
“Kapag trabaho, trabaho lang tayo. Kung ano man ang personal, wala na tayo do’n,” she explained.
