M. Night Shyamalan’s new thriller exclusively at Robinsons Movieworld

MANILA, Philippines - Writer-producer-director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense and Signs) teamed up with producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious series) to produce one of the year’s most terrifying films, The Visit.

To kick off on Nov. 18, The Visit will be screened exclusively in 10 Robinsons Movieworld branches namely: Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Metro East, Robinsons Place Antipolo, Robinsons Place Malolos, Robinsons Place Iloilo, Robinsons Place Bacolod, Robinsons Place Tacloban and Robinsons Place Palawan.

The film follows the story of siblings Becca and Tyler, who are sent to their Nana  and Pop Pop to a remote farm in Pennsylvania for week-long vacation. Panic unfolds when the children discover that their grandparents are involved in something deeply disturbing and their chances of returning home grow slimmer by the day.

Shyamalan, who broke through in 1999 with worldwide phenomenon The Sixth Sense, goes back to his independent roots with The Visit. A noticeably smaller picture compared to his latest works, the film is slow building, with the plot arising from the characters themselves. Banking on masterful storytelling, The Visit treats viewers to a visceral yet mischievous suspense.
