WATCH: Despite personal issues, Cesar Montano feels 'blessed'

MANILA, Philippines - Although he is currently facing issues with his estranged wife Sunshine Cruz, Cesar Montano said he still feels "blessed."

The 53-year-old actor was asked to assess this year in terms of his career and personal life during a press conference for the Metro Manila Film Festival movie "Nilalang" recently.

Cesar described his career in 2015 as "very, very abundant" and revealed he might be part of a Hollywood movie, to be filmed next year. He's also happy to be part of the MMFF this year.

As for his personal life, he said: "I feel so blessed kasi I feel more closer to our Creator right now. Probably dahil sa bigat ng dala ko."

In the same interview, Cesar said he has not seen his three daughters with Sunshine for quite some time now, saying he misses them "more than my life."

"Everyone, gano'n ang nangyayari, e. You tend to be closer to God [kapag may problema] kasi ganun talaga, e," Cesar added.

"Minsan, dumadaan talaga sa atin 'yun e. What's important is next time, where are we going after this?" he further said.
