All-4-One with Diana King at RWM

The concert of All-4-One with King (below) is set for Oct. 28

MANILA, Philippines - All-4-One is an American male R&B/pop group best known for its cover hit single I Swear from the band’s self-titled 1994 debut album. Group members  Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez and Tony Borowiak are all from the Antelope Valley and Mojave, California areas, but are based in the Los Angeles area. The group has sold 22 million records worldwide.

Dubbed the Dukes of R&B by several Internet sources, All-4-One’s hit I Swear won a Grammy Award in 1995 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group and enjoyed an 11-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and a seven-week run at No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart. It has been named by ASCAP as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th century. It was also nominated for Song of the Year, as was the single Top 5 smash hit I Can Love You Like That. The group was popular before the No. 1 success of I Swear, as its previous single So Much in Love (originally a No. 1 US hit for The Thymes in 1963) had reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier in the year. Other hits include She’s Got Skillz, These Arms, Beautiful as U, I Will Be Right Here and Someday (the title single from the Disney animated feature The Hunchback of Notre Dame).

Diana King, the world-renowned Jamaican-born-and-raised artist, has the “it”…that “thing” that separates her from the pack. She’s a star, with a combination of unparalleled vocal power and passion, diverse style, edgy lyrics, exotic beauty, sharp and opinionated mind, sex appeal and a down-to-earth jeans and T-shirt charm and personality to spare. With her trademark blend of genres seasoned with reggae, the singer-songwriter-producer is expressing herself with songs that not only showcase her vocal styling, but highlight her skills as a lyrical storyteller.

Her distinctive flavor has been sought after by acclaimed musicians and artists such as Brian McKnight, Kyle Eastwood, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and German reggae star Gentleman. Her catalogue also holds hit reggae covers of famous songs like Ain’t Nobody, Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me, Hey Jude and Piece of my Heart.

Catch them live in a one-night performance on Oct. 28, 8 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila. The show is produced by Resorts World Manila in cooperation with Redstone Media Productions, Inc. Tickets are available at all Ticketworld, Ticketnet and SM Ticket outlets.
