MANILA, Philippines - ASAP 20 levels up its celebration with Filipinos in London today as Spandau Ballet, Blake and the cast of West End’s Miss Saigon join them on stage.
English new wave band Spandau Ballet sets foot on the ASAP stage for the first time while British vocal group Blake returns for another OPM medley with Yeng Constantino and Angeline Quinto.
Global Pinoy talent also gets honored with the Pinoy cast of West End’s 2015 revival of hit musical Miss Saigon performing live.
ASAP Kapamilya, meanwhile, won’t be left behind as Martin Nievera, Lani Misalucha, Jed Madela and Gary Valenciano sing West End’s classics.
Bamboo, Yeng, KZ Tandingan, Richard Poon and Aiza Seguerra also give an unforgettable production number.
From an all-out vocal showdown, an all-out dance battle ensues among dance royalties Maja Salvador, Shaina Magdayao, Enrique Gil, Enchong Dee, Rayver Cruz, John Prats and KC Concepcion and Supahdance favorites Janella Salvador, Sam Milby, Jake Cuenca and Arci Muñoz.
The fun and surprises don’t end there as Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta, and Coco Martin and Maja Salvador offer a kilig treat.
LIzQuen and JaDine, meanwhile, join Luis Manzano and Alex Gonzaga in another laughtrip Karaokey segment.
ASAP 20 in London drew more than 10,000 people in London’s second largest indoor arena, The SSE Arena Wembley. Kapamilya stars now join the ranks of international artists such as Elton John, Pink, Maroon5, Beyoncé and U2, who performed at the said venue and packed it with thousands of fans.
