MANILA, Philippines — Vic Sotto vehemently denied rumors that his family and children do not support his plans to tie the knot with long-time girlfriend Pauleen Luna.
The veteran TV host recently announced that he and Pauleen are engaged, after being in a relationship for over four years.

“With my family, with my brothers, boto naman sila kay Pauleen,” Vic said in an interview with ABS-CBN’s late night news program “Bandila” aired Tuesday. “And my children, I’m just so blessed with beautiful and loving children.”
The 61-year-old comedian also revealed telling his children about his wedding plans with Pauleen “a long time ago.”
“Yung mga kontra-kontra, tsismis lang 'yan,” he said.
Vic currently has four children: Danica, Oyo Boy, Vico and Paulina. His children was previously rumored to be against their father’s romance with his “Eat Bulaga” co-host, an issue Danica and Oyo Boy denied in interviews with the press.
Meanwhile, Vic said he and Pauleen are planning to hold the wedding before the end of the Year of the Goat.
He also confirmed reports that they’re planning to hold a “quiet wedding.”
“Nagkasundo kami na simple lang. I’m not the type naman na magarbo, engrande. Basta 'andoon lahat ng mga kaibigan, pamilya, okay na,” Vic said, adding they will announce the date of the wedding in due time. “Wala naman kaming planong itago.” — Chuck Smith
