MANILA, Philippines — On the third season of "Asia's Next Top Model," three Filipino women were fortunate to be part of the fourteen finalists.

Since the Asian franchise of the show started, Filipinos have been consistent contenders.

For this year, Monika Sta. Maria, Amanda Chan, and Francheska Lagua will try to take home the title "Asia's Next Top Model."

Aside from the three Filipino finalists, two other Pinays are part of the show: Georgina Wilson, who will be hosting the show for the first time, and Joey Mead King, who returns to the show as a mentor for the aspiring models.

Also part of the judges is Alex Perry, a fashion icon who previously worked with "Australia's Next Top Model."

"Asia's Next Top Model" season 3 promises to deliver exciting challenges, exotic locations and a showcase for the best modeling talent in Asia.

Through tasks that will test their will, intelligence and instincts for high fashion, contestants will transform into world-class modeling professionals before the eyes of viewers, but only one will shine enough to deserve the title of "Asia's Next Top Model."

The show airs on Wednesdays, 8:45 p.m. at StarWorld.
