MANILA, Philippines - Luke Mejares, the Blackbird of R&B and former vocalist of South Border, headlines the Valentine’s Day presentation at Gloria’s Fantasyland in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte.
Gloria’s Fantasyland, which opened six years ago, is part of the Dakak Park & Beach Resort Complex. It is the premier theme park in Mindanao, envisioned to be the Philippine version of Disneyland. Aside from its high-tech rides, Fantasyland features the one of the most unique horror houses in that it features live actors. Also now part of the attraction at the theme park is its newly-launched Festival of Colors.
Guest performers during the concert, which is part of Fantasyland’s Hall of Fame Concert Series, include Lana J., who incidentally is also the VP for sales and marketing of Dakak Properties. Although she now moves in the corporate world, Lana J. is basically a performing artist who took after her mother, the beautiful Lourna Pal.
Lana J. now helps her father, former Rep. Romeo Jalosjos, in his various business endeavors, “I will always be a performing artist at heart,” Lana J. said.
Tickets to the Valentine’s Day show are priced at P1,250 per person, inclusive of dinner at the Love Boat or Fresh Harvest, or P1,500 with Dakak’s special four-course dinner.
