MANILA, Philippines — After her cameo role in the Star Cinema film "Halik sa Hangin," Jasmine Curtis-Smith is starring in another film.

She's part of Regal Film's "Mara," where she acts opposite Isabelle Daza and Paulo Avelino.

"It's a horror [movie] but it centralizes on family relationship. So sister ko dito si Isabelle, tapos si Paulo is a police officer," Jasmine said about the film.

She added that the film was "six months in the making" and was planned to be in cinemas this February or in March.

Jasmine is also busy with her new TV5 show "Move It," which she is hosting with former child star Tom Taus.

"More on hosting ako for this show," she replied when asked how this is different from her previous projects with the network.

Jasmine enjoys acting, yet she says that dancing is her first love.

"Before acting, more into dancing po ako. Mas nabuhayan lang po 'yong sa pag-arte kasi siyempre po sa T.V. at film more on that 'yong kailangan," she said.

"Move It" airs every Sunday, 7 p.m. on TV5.
