Nobody sends Christmas Cards as they used to, no thanks to social media that makes it easier and faster to relay messages of all kinds.
But I still prefer hard copies, such as three of the endearing cards featured in this corner on Christmas Day every year as a nod to the age-old tradition that Christmas is for the family.
Even if I don’t see them in person, I am able to monitor the growth of showbiz children like Davao del Norte (Second District) Rep. Anton Lagdameo and wife Dawn Zulueta’s son Jacobo (9) and daughter Ayisha (5); and Julius Babao and Tintin Bersola’s Antonia and Antonio.
The other card (a collectors’ item) came from STAR Remember When? columnist Danny Dolor, the ad of Ikaw ang Buhay Ko starring Rogelio dela Rosa and Lilia Dizon, an old LVN movie taken from his extensive memorabilia.
