Ruffa Gutierrez asks you to buy big

MANILA, Philippines - Ruffa Gutierrez (photo) is asking mothers like her to shift from buying tingi to purchasing bigger packs of well-loved Procter & Gamble (P&G) household brands Ariel, Tide, Downy and Joy. Speaking during the launch of Wag Kang Titingi-tingi, Buy BIG campaign, the P&G ambassadress shared that buying bigger packs provides more savings in the long run.

“We often think that buying lots of sachets is the wise thing to do, but it isn’t. Buying P&G products in bigger packs provide us more savings and also help us control the amount we will use with the scoops that come with the bags,” she said.

Ruffa shared that buying in big or bulk sizes is the better option because it saves you money and time. Sachet use piles up on your monthly expenses and they run out quickly, causing you to make more frequent trips to the grocery.      

Promoting conscious buying among shoppers, Wag Kang Titingi-tingi, Buy BIG is a campaign of P&G Philippines and SM that educates consumers to purchase bigger sizes of P&G products including Ariel, Tide, Downy and Joy to enjoy huge savings. Presented at the newly-opened SM Center in Angono, the initiative shows how shoppers can get their money’s worth by buying bigger packs instead of sachets that costs more in the long run.

During the event, Ruffa interacted with the shoppers and presented P&G’s promotions to motivate consumers to upsize. These include Buy 1, Get 1 at 25 percent discount on bags of Ariel and Tide in all SM SaveMore Market, SM Hypermarket and SM Supermarket branches nationwide that will be available today until supplies last.
