With the last hints of summer hovering about, chill-out, electronic and world music throbbing with ethnic vibes courtesy of Egyptian-born DJ Mada (photo) and the sight of a spanking new Maserati Ghibli 2014, the latest rage in the luxury automobile circles, greeted guests and members of media last May 31, dubbed as Arabian Nights with DJ Mada, at the resto-lounge Buddha-Bar Manila.
Arianne Aguja, marketing manager of Buddha-Bar Manila, shared that they opted for a middle-eastern theme for the event because it perfectly fits the season, and Buddha-Bar Manila’s Arabian Nights is the most chic way to end a fabulous summer. The entire Buddha-Bar Manila was designed to wax Arabian magic with customers feeling like they are in a soothing yet posh desert ambiance thanks to the glamorous lamps, well-designed visuals to the belly-dancing performances.
DJ Mada, whose real name is Ahmed Khalil, is the resident DJ at Buddha-Bar Budapest. He has performed at Sziget Festival, one af Europe’s largest music and cultural festivals. His unique mix of chill-out, electronic and world music continues to be an attraction at global hotspots like Buddha-Bar’s Paris headquarters, Buddha-Bar St. Petersburg and the Little Buddha Sharm-el-Sheikh. DJ Mada is part of the ongoing Buddha-Bar Worldwide DJ Tour where famous DJs like DJ Nicholas Sechaud, DJ Dimi.el and DJ Ravin are also part of and have also visited Manila the past years.
