Beauty Gonzalez sees self settling down three to four years from now

MANILA, Philippines-Beauty Gonzalez is thankful to her non-showbiz boyfriend for being supportive of her career.

She met her partner that she named Julsar, through her friend and kababayan Paul Jake Castillo. Julsar is 15 years older than her, and is in a construction business.

“Ngayon lang ako nagkaro'n ng jowang [karelasyon] supportive,” Beuaty said about her boyfriend. “Kasi 'yong dati kong jowa, hindi rin siya supportive, 'wag na natin pangalanan, malaki rin ang gap namin pero ano siya, e, very strict na hindi niya maintindihan ang work ko. Ito iba, mas [understanding].”

Beauty and Julsar started out as friends. She actually first tried to match him with her friend who came from a breakup.

“So no'ng lumalabas sila sabi ko, 'bakit ako nagagalit?' Tapos siya, 'bakit mo ako pinipilit sa kanya? Lumabas nga tayo,' so 'yon lumabas kami,” she related while blushing. “Naging okay ang usapan namin kasi we started as friends. So ando'n na 'yong respeto, nando'n na 'yong foundation, naging kami rin.”

But since her boyfriend is 38 while she's turning 23 tomorrow, May 28, she admits that they're having talks about marriage. Yet the “Moon of Desire” star is thankful that he's not pressuring her to settle down.

“Nakita niya kasi na ngayon lang 'yong napapansin ako,” she explained. “I mean, I've been in the business for four years, five years na ngayon lang ako napansin ng tao, ayaw niya 'yon masira.

“Kasi I'm too young, tutal it's just a number lang naman ang edad, makapag-hintay pa naman daw siya, wag lang too long daw. Mga four to three years pa.”

Meanwhile, Beauty is happy with the public's response with her love team with Franco Daza in the afternoon sexy-drama series “Moon of Desire.”

Their comic love team adds laughter to the rather dramatic series, and was even fondly called by netizens as TiNola, a contraction of their characters' names Tilda and Nolan.

Asked what the viewers should expect from her character Beauty said, “papunta na kami sa baong plot ng aming istorya, tapos naging palaban na kami ni Ayla (Meg Imperial), naging palaban na ako for her kasi lagi na lang siya inaapi, nanggigil na ko so puwede na ko mag-resbak para sa kanya.”
