Yassi Pressman looks forward to being a ‘MTV Pinoy’ VJ

MANILA, Philippines- Yassi Pressman is happy about her new stint as a video jock.

Aside from being an actress and a dancer, Yassi will  now become  one of MTV Pinoy’s first batch of video jockeys.

MTV Pinoy is the local MTV channel of the Philippines, which is under the partnership of MTV Asia and Viva Communication. The channel will be launched on February 14.

Her showbiz exposure has helped Yassi to prepare as a VJ. 

“Actually, ang naging pinaka-preparation ko for the MTV is ‘yong show ko sa Viva Channel,” she relates. “I was hosting a dedication show, it was called Specially For You, for like mga six months din ‘yon.”

Aside from hosting the desiccation show of the channel, the Kapuso actress will also be interviewing  music personalities, something that she looks forward to.

“Kasi iba ‘yong pressure, e,” Yassi admits. “Like ‘yong magagaling nating performers dito kakabahan ka talaga mag-interview kasi you have to know what to ask, what to tell them, you have to keep the conversation going.

“Lalo naman sa  international acts, ibang level din naman ‘yon. 7107 [International Music Festival] upcoming [event] mag-interview kami and maraming darating, e, so sana makuha namin sila. Sobrang exciting kasi mga idols talaga.”
