Angel Locsin hopes for reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano

MANILA, Philippines – “Sana kasi wala naman akong ibang makita pero depende yan sa amin kung magiging okay kami together.”

This is what Angel Locsin said when asked about the possibility of reconciling with former boyfriend Luis Manzano during a press conference, as aired in a report on ABS-CBN’s late night news program “Bandila” on Wednesday, January 15.

The actress said she still loves her ex-boyfriend. Angel and Luis broke up in 2009.

“Oo, mahal. Mahal naman. Andyan lang. Hindi naman nawala e. Pero hindi naman ibig sabihin nun magiging kayo ulit o magkakabalikan kayo, di ba? Kasi kailangan n’yo muna pagusapan yung napakaraming nangyari sa amin,” Angel said.

However, Angel clarified that Luis has nothing to do with her breakup with football player Phil Younghusband last October. The “Legal Wife” star added she avoided Luis for a few years.

“Iniiwasan talaga namin ang isa't isa for two or three years. So walang makakapagsabi na naglalandian kami kasi nagiiwasan talaga kami nang napakahabang panahon,” Angel explained, adding she’s currently communicating again with Luis.

Angel and Phil confirmed their breakup October last year after almost two years of being in a relationship.

Around the same time last year, Luis also admitted his split with Jennylyn Mercado. The two started dating May of 2011 and became a couple a few months later.
