MANILA, Philippines - The 100-year-old pioneering New York-based Dale Carnegie Training firm congratulated the Philippines’ most recent winner of the prestigious Miss International — Bea Rose Santiago. She joined the other graduates of the Dale Carnegie Course, 2013 Miss Universe third runner-up Ariella Arida and 2013 Miss Supranational Mutya Johanna Datul.
Bea is shown with Dale Carnegie Training’s (Phils) one-on-one coach Doodz Policarpio following her executive training course on Effective Communications and Human Relations.
A day before the competition, Bea said on her Twitter account that she wanted to bring joy to her countrymen this Christmas: ‘Lord bless me! Give me confidence and strength for tomorrow. I want to give a merry Christmas to the Philippines.’
She is the fifth Filipina to take home the Miss International crown, the last one being Precious Lara Quigaman in 2005.
