Gwendoline Ruais, David Semerad engaged

MANILA, Philippines- Miss World 2011 1st Princess Gwendoline Ruais is engaged to his 10-month boyfriend David Semerald.

The two admitted this through an exclusive interview aired in the GMA primetime news cast “24 Oras” Saturday night, December 7.

“Well yes, technically we’re engaged,” David said. “It’s just that I haven’t done a formal proposal yet and got the big rock.”

Gwendoline said, “We do want to get married and we see each other spending our lives together. But like he said we’re waiting for the right time.”

The 24-year-old beauty queen said that her beau has everything that he’s been looking for in a guy which is “someone taller than me, to be good looking, to be half-European, (and) have good personality.”

Gwen is a half-Filipina, half-French while David is half-Filipino, half-Czech.

It was so obvious then how the 22-year-old San Beda player is so in love with Gwendoline when he said, “When I saw her the first time, I already knew she’s already the one. There’s already a connection.”

The two are planning to fly to Australia to introduce Gwen to David’s family. They are also arranging a formal engagement party which will be exclusive to their family and close friends.
