Report: Willie Revillame not sending feelers to ABS-CBN

Willie Revillame has already announced the end of his TV5 program “Wowowillie” this October, according to a report by local entertainment website Philippine Entertainment Portal. However, the Kapatid host clarified he is not talking to Kapamilya executives to take his program to ABS-CBN.

“Wala akong nakakausap. Hindi naman totoo na nakapag-usap… Even si Ma’am Charo (Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN president), he said in an interview with PEP.

Willie added, “It’s unethical for me, sa sarili ko, if I talk to any channel right now. Hindi pa tapos ang contract ko. After October 15, then, I’m free.”

The “Wowowillie” host said he is also negotiating with his current home network.

“I’ll finish my contract by October 15. May negotiations kami, I have a meeting with them. Kung kukunin ba ako ng TV5, may negotiation…. Kung hindi naman, magpapasalamat ako sa kanila,” he said.

The controversial TV host left ABS-CBN in 2010 following his spat with showbiz columnist Jobert Sucaldito. Willie took his program to TV5 in October 2010; his show has since been reformatted three times.

In an interview with Philippine Star entertainment editor Ricky Lo, Willie said he will focus on the construction of his Wil Tower in Quezon City once “Wowowillie” ends later this year.

When asked by Lo what he will be up to next year, Willie said: “I Wil return!”
