Gina Alajar holds summer acting workshop

MANILA, Philippines - St. Joseph’s College of Quezon City (SJCQC), under its The Center for Media Arts program, is launching this year’s summer short course series dubbed Learn More from the Experts.

Headlining the workshop series is award-winning actor/director Gina Alajar’s (photo) film acting class. Gina conducts the intensive workshop in an actual TV studio, complete with instant video feedback and critique, culminating in a live, videotaped production especially written for the participants.

Other workshops under the program are Writing The Screenplay by GMA Network creative head Roy Iglesias, Creative Photography by prize-winning short film director and multi-media professor Elvert Banares and Film & Fashion Makeup by film graduate and topnotch makeup artist Sophia Castañeda.

Gina’s film acting class is a three-hour session on a Saturday to Sunday schedule. Writing the Screenplay is scheduled every Saturday until June 22. Film and Fashion Make-Up is on M-W-F afternoon schedule. Creative Photography has a daily one-week afternoon run until tomorrow, May 10.
