MANILA, Philippines - “Do I renovate or relocate?†For homeowners looking for a fresh start, it’s one of two choices: Keeping the property and safeguarding memories that come with it, or parting with the lot and starting a new life. BIO’s all-new series, Reno vs Relocate, premiering Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. and airing every Wednesday at the same time thereafter, shows how homeowners deal with this life-changing question.
Reno vs Relocate pits property against renovation, and encourages fence-sitting homeowners to take action, make a decision, and move on with their lives. While style-savvy designer Robin Lewis persuades homeowners to stay, using his attractive and state-of-the-art graphics to simulate their dream renovation, expert realtor Vanessa Roman tries to convince them to move by presenting them property options that perfectly match their wishlists and budget.
Armed with all these information to make their big decision, the homeowners have to finally choose between renovating or relocating before the real work begins. And once the ultimate decision has been made, they, together with Lewis and Roman, will embark on a major home makeover or continue the hunt for the ideal property.
The series premieres with back-to-back episodes starting with Kitchen Catastrophe at 8 p.m. After Hina and Paul spend many years touring and seeing the wonders of the outside world, the pair finally return to their home with an unsightly view — an unkempt kitchen in their long-neglected residence. Hina and Paul will have to decide whether to renovate or relocate.
Following shortly at 8:30 p.m. is Tween Management, which zooms in on Ish and Josie’s once comfortably spacious home. With two tween-aged kids growing up fast and consequently vying for more space, the walls are closing in, and Jose and Ish are prompted to search for solutions.
Regardless of what these homeowners decide, Reno vs Relocate points them to one direction — moving from living in the status quo to finally building their dream home.
