Kuh & Isabella at Festival Supermall

MANILA, Philippines - Oftentimes, mothers are their children’s biggest cheerleaders. No matter what, our moms will always be around for us — cooking a big breakfast for us before a major exam, filming every ballet recital or supporting us in our chosen careers.

That’s is why Festival Supermall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City will pull out all stops for mothers as it mounts a Mother’s Day concert featuring Kuh Ledesma and daughter Isabella Gonzalez (photo), tomorrow, May 13, 4 p.m., at the mall’s second level Carousel Court.

Kuh’s career spans 35 years. She has held more than 1,000 concerts, recorded 20 albums and collaborated with only the finest Filipino artists and international names like Kenny Rankin, Noel Pointer and The Platters. Kuh is also known for being an outspoken activist for the local music industry. In December last year, she released her first Gospel album titled Fragrance of Worship.

Multi-talented is a perfect description for Isabella. She was a painter before deciding to write her own songs for her debut album Identity. She took up acting classes and wishes to direct her own films. Isabella hopes to make her own mark in the music industry with her soulful voice.

The mother-daughter tandem will captivate mallgoers with their beautiful harmonies and individual numbers, singing all-time favorites from their respective albums.
