The producer, Kayumanggi Cinema, had two layouts of Huwag Kang Sumingit made. One had Gloria Romero and Luis Gonzales and the other had Nida Blanca and Nestor de Villa.
The two layouts were published in different pages of newspapers and magazines, as if two films were being promoted.
Released in 1966, Huwag Kang Sumingit was written and directed by Felicing H. Constantino, who was identified with the Nida-Nestor tandem.
