Scouted set to premiere on E!

MANILA, Philippines - What do Selita Ebanks, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Elle Mcpherson, Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford have in common? Apart from being mega models, these fashion icons were all scouted — spotted by scouts while doing ordinary, everyday activities.

Victoria’s Secret angel Selita was scouted in a theme park when she was just 17 while Naomi was spotted while window-shopping in London’s Covent Garden. Elle was discovered while vacationing in Aspen. Claudia became the new face of Chanel after being scouted in a Dusseldorf nightclub and Giselle who was spotted at McDonald’s and went on to become one of the world’s most successful models.

Inspired by the supermodels who went from non-entity to global celebrity, Scouted lets you in on how each new face is put through the wringer in New York’s extremely competitive modeling industry. Unlike other modeling reality shows, Scouted shows everyone that models aren’t made. Instead, future supermodels are scouted and selected for unique features and their willingness to be molded.

Each episode of Scouted brings a new face which could either have the goods to make waves in the modeling world or simply fade back to obscurity. Leading the way in giving everyone an insightful look into how the modeling superstars are made are accomplished scouts Page Parkes, Erin Olson, Kristen Kotik and Stacey Vanchieri. Helping stir things up is One Management president Scott Lipps, creative director Michael Flutie, model mentor Beri Smither, scouting director Julia Samersova and image and style consultant Dani Stahl.

Scouted is just one of many exciting programs being offered by E! Entertainment Television, the world’s only 24/7 channel exclusively dedicated to celebrities and entertainment.
