John Lloyd remains elusive

So is it over between John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao? After John Lloyd and Shaina went on television to explain their side of the many controversies that hounded them, nothing was heard from them again. Not even when The Buzz cornered John Lloyd at a press conference where the actor was curt with his answers. “Ayoko nang i-dissect pa kung ano man ang pinanggagalingan ng tanong.”

When also asked if he and Shaina were talking, John Lloyd said, “I’ll let you know. Wala po akong gusto sabihin. Nasabi ko na ang gusto kong sabihin.”

John Lloyd was in his usual elusive self. One of the couple’s close friends, Kuya Germs, who knows both Shaina and John Lloyd was a little more definite with his answers. “Hindi ko tinatapos ang kabanata. Bukas makalawa mag kakabalikan.”

John Prats’ double surprise for Bianca

Action speaks louder than words. This rings true for special friends Bianca Manalo and John Prats. Bianca and John need not verbalize their special feelings for each other. Their actions say it. Their eyes say it. And the spaces between their words for each other say it as well.

Last week during Bianca’s birthday, John staged a double surprise for her. He brought Bianca on a cruise along Manila Bay. “Nung salubong ng birthday ko, sinundo niya ako. He didn’t tell me where we were going. Nakita ko na lang cruise. And I thought baka nandito yung surprise. Pag-pasok ko sa yate, may babaeng nakaabang with flowers, then we had dinner with violin. We dined while cruising Manila Bay,” said Bianca.

But John’s surprise did not end there. After dinner, she brought Bianca to another venue in Ortigas where everyone was there from her family, friends, her Banana Split family, Bb. Pilipinas family, Juanita Banana family and Happy, Yippee, Yehey! family. “I did not miss anyone. Everybody was there. I felt so much like a girl. Grabe.”

An overjoyed Bianca muttered, “Sana kung paano kami nagsimula, ganun lang forever. Naniniwala ako na kung paano mo minamahal ang nanay mo, ganun mo rin mamahalin ang babaeng mapapasayo.”

And John’s birthday wish for Bianca? “Sana forever na kaming magkasama.”

Dennis cool about Jen-Luis relationship

Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado

Now that Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado have made public their relationship, what everybody wants to know is how Jen’s exes would react to it? Reportedly, Luis and Dennis Trillo, with whom Jen had a topsy-turvy relationship, almost bumped into each other at the recent Golden Screen Awards. Dennis is cool about it. And so is Luis. “Wala naman problema yon,” said Dennis.

Patrick, who is the father of Jen’s only son Jazz and who is making his TV comeback via the serye Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin, said that everything is fine with him. “Okay naman kami ni Luis. I have worked with him before. I’m also okay with Jennylyn as friends. Whoever she falls in love with is okay with me. She has the right to be happy.”
