MANILA, Philippines - After launching eight ambassadors who personify BlueWater Day Spa’s new and innovative ways in achieving wholeness, the company recently signed up three more. They are Karylle and Brapanese hunks Daniel Matsunaga and Fabio Ide. They are not new to the BlueWater Day Spa family, having lent their faces to endorse several of the spa’s groundbreaking treatments.
For Karylle, it is the third year that she is signing up as a BlueWater Day Spa ambassadress. She began going to the spa long before she was asked to become its endorser, claiming that she enjoys its privacy and world-class service.
“Stepping into BlueWater Day Spa feels like stepping into my own private spa. It is quiet and very exclusive so I get the privacy I want especially on days when I want to escape from the hectic pace of life in show business. I keep coming back to BlueWater Day Spa also because there’s always a new massage or treatment to look forward to. A visit is always an exciting relaxation activity,” she says.
Karylle’s favorite service at BlueWater Day Spa is the foot reflex inside the Spa Theater. The treatment, she says, soothes and pampers her tired and aching feet and legs, especially after taping for shows that require her to dance a lot.
She adds, “I frequent the Tomas Morato branch since it’s near my home studio. Whenever I’m there, I tend to linger and stay for at least a couple of hours to rest and sleep during my taping breaks. My other favorite treatment is the Athlete’s Massage. It’s a hard massage that eases out the tension in my legs which I get whenever I run and do my training.”
Known for his boyish good looks, Daniel claims that taking care of his body is important to his work as a model. “It is not like I just sit back and do nothing to get my body. I have to go to the gym regularly, eat right and avoid late-night partying to keep my body in shape.”
But when he feels the need to relax, Daniel goes to the BlueWater Day Spa to rid his body of aches and pains as well as help his muscles heal and regain strength. As BlueWater Day Spa ambassador, Daniel gets a year of free treatments.
“I go to BlueWater Day Spa for the traditional Filipino massage, or hilot. It is an intense, two-hour therapy that works on my muscles to relieve tension and stress. I find that hilot also accelerates the healing of my muscles especially when I injure myself in the gym. With hilot, I can get back to my activities and responsibilities very quickly,” explains Daniel.
Fabio, on the other hand, has been winning fans because of his antics on GMA News TV’s Sarap at Home, wherein he appears with Sam Oh, Jackie Rice and Ramon Bautista.
Like Daniel, Fabio knows the importance of keeping his body fit. “Not just to look good, but to stay healthy,” says Fabio. He also frequents the gym, indulges in sports and keeps a healthy diet. “But the body needs to heal, too,” he reminds, “so I go to BlueWater Day Spa to treat my body to a hilot.”
Fabio also believes that hilot is beneficial because it makes the muscles more flexible and stronger, thus making them more resistant to injury. “I also feel so energized after having my hilot so I know that works perfectly well to keep the body strong and healthy.”
