Anthony Taberna, who recently won Best Male Newscaster for Iba-balita at the PMPC Star Awards, probes an alleged anomalous practice of PHILWEB Corp. which is the provider of E-Games at PAGCOR. So when XXX exposed the anomaly to PAGCOR, they were surprised by the revelation on how its gaming provider has been making money but deprives PAGCOR of its rightful earnings.
XXX, nominated for Outstanding Crime/Investigative Program at the Golden Screen TV awards, has been breaking some of the country’s important stories to date. It caught on cam former Batangas Gov. Antonio Leviste going out of prison this year after months of surveillance. And its exposé on the maltreatment of a grandmother detained in a dog cage spurred public outrage on how the family treated her.
