Maguindanao Massacre revisited on GMA News TV

MANILA, Philippines - On the eve of the Maguindanao Massacre’s second anniversary, GMA News TV airs a British documentary on the tragedy first aired on History Channel Asia.

In the southern province of Maguindanao, 58 innocent people were slain in a gruesome massacre that sent shockwaves not just throughout the Philippines, but around the world. It was the worst case of election-related violence in the country’s history and one of Southeast Asia’s biggest stories.
