'70s Relived! at Teatrino

MANILA, Philippines - There was a time during the ’70s when the nightlife of the trendy upscale Pinoy revolved entirely around the clubs on Roxas Blvd., Eduardo’s the Flames or Wells Fargo.

Dominating the entertainment scene during that time were The New Minstrels and Circus Band — pioneers of the ’70s Manila Sound.

Past forward to the year 2011. A handful of the excellent singers who carved their niche in the music industry during this time from The New Minstrels and The Circus Band are back for a concert that will definitely be the musical event of the year.

’70s Relived! features the unique combination of jazz greats Jacqui Magno, Pat Castillo and Tillie Moreno of The Circus Band with Ding Mercado and Eugene Villaluz of The New Minstrels. All five took time out from their busy lives to indulge themselves and be part of a spectacular musical reunion on stage.
