Anton and Dawn Zulueta Lagdameo and their children Jacobo and Ayisha spent their summer vacation in the United States which included a visit to Dawn’s father Fazil in Houston as well Anton’s family who has a home in New Jersey. They spent three weeks in America, with their children seeing their maternal grandfather for the first time. But if Dawn had her way, she would have spent an entire month bonding with her father. But commitments with the teleserye Mula Sa Puso had her packing her bags to Manila. It was a happy reunion for Dawn and her father who last saw each other in 1997 during her wedding to Anton. Jacobo, who is turning six, and Ayisha, who just recently turned two, enjoyed their vacation immensely. It was the children’s first visit to Houston and New Jersey.
Secrets to happy marriage
Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo share some secrets to a happy married life. They exchange I Love You’s everyday. “Meron siyang sariling diskarte pagdating sa paglalambing. Di masyadong halata,” Juday says. She knows Ryan is “naglalambing” already when he says, “I love you.”
Ryan and Juday still maintain the fun and excitement they had when they were still unmarried. “The other day, Juday texted me ‘I love you.’ So I texted back and asked why? And she answered ang haba haba. Akala ko naman ang sasabihin niya ang gwapo gwapo mo. At naawa naman kaya tinawag din akong gwapo.”
They also draw inspiration from their two children Yohan and Lucho who remain their top priorities. Bonding moments with their kids include “wrestling, kilitian, takbuhan habulan at pagdating sa kikay, sila na ni Juday,” Ryan enthuses.
“We are so blessed dahil si Yohan madali pagsabihan. Nakukuha sa tingin. Makulit lang talaga.”
“Nakukuha sa usap yan,” adds Juday. “Di mo lang yan kakausapin, alam na niya na may mali siyang ginawa.”
Juday is also back in harness with a TV show and a film for the Metro Manila Film Festival. Ryan has no qualms about Juday going back to work. “I was raised in a family na ang mother nag-tratrabaho rin. More than anything, ang naiisip ko kailangan ni Juday mag-work for herself. Bago kami nagkakilalala, dalawa siyang dekada na nagtratrabaho at nakagisnan na niya. Baka mabagot na ito at mapraning, yan ang kinokonsider ko as a husband,” explains Ryan.
The MMFF movie with Ryan is their first in three years.

Luis-Angel saga not over?
Is there a part two to the Luis Manzano and Angel Locsin saga? Angel is openly dating Azkals’ Phil Younghusband while Luis is reportedly playing beautiful music with Jennylyn Mercado. But lately, the Internet world was distracted by the exchange of tweets purportedly between Angel and Luis. In her Twitter account, Angel tweeted, “Dear Ex, Stop texting, stalking and fighting with me, if you’re over na. Pinoprotektahan kita pero pag di ka tumigil, magsasalita na ako sa pinagagagawa mo. Respeto please.”
Six hours after Angel’s tweets, Luis posted, “With the harsh words I said earlier, I’m sorry. Hope we let bygones be bygones. We have moved on but sorry sa sinabi ko kanina.”
The Buzz cornered Luis to explain his side of the story and Luis gave a meaningful smile and an even more meaningful “sorry.”
