Manila, Philippines - The big names behind top films Transformers, Green Lantern, Mr. Popper’s Penguins and The Three Stooges headline the guests of The Late Show with David Letterman this week.
Today, Ryan Reynolds shares on how it feels to play the lead in a full on superhero adventure for the first time for Green Lantern, which also stars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett, Mark Strong, Tim Robbins and the voices of Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan. And the cast of the Broadway revival of Anything Goes will be onstage to perform songs from the musical.
Jim Carrey drops by on June 16, for the live action comedy film Mr. Popper’s Penguins while 24-year-old British Victoria’s Secret supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley does the same for Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Then solo artist and studio maverick Todd Rundgren stars as the musical guest for a one-of-a-kind experience with a man who has helped shape the music industry.
Jennifer Hudson has joined the cast of the Farrelly Brothers’ The Three Stooges and will be chatting about that, among other things, when she appears on June 17. Hudson will play Sister Rosemary, one of the nuns in the orphanage where the Stooges grew up. The Oscar-winning American Idol contestant also recently penned a memoir detailing her struggles with weight, due in January 2012.
