MANILA, Philippines- Catch some of the country’s top singers and bands at The Establishment from Wednesday through Saturday for the month of May.
It’s all about acoustic music on Wednesdays as pop icon Joey Generoso and bossa nova queen Sitti take center stage for Acoustic Wednesday Nights. Joey, the voice behind multi platinum band Side A, will perform solo and unplugged for the very first time. Sitti on the other hand, is credited for reviving the country’s interest in bossa nova.
Next, join Spirit of 67 (photo) as you take a trip down memory lane for Retro Thursdays and groove to the hits of the ’60s to the ’80s. An Aliw Awards Hall of Fame recipient, the band is known for its extensive and well-selected repertoire over-all performance and audience rapport.
For Sassy Fridays, it’s the Kitty Girls back-to-back with Version 4.0. Kitty Girls is known for hits like K.I.T.T.Y. and Dance Naked. Version 4.0 is headlined by former Pinoy Dream Academy scholar Panky Trinidad, together with Jem Marquez, Sheryl Kao, Daryl Ong and the Toy Symphony.
Finally, get ready to dance, sing and party all evening with the Zoo Band with their exciting mix of pop, R&B and new wave music on Partee On Saturdays.
The party continues into the wee hours as RX 93.1’s DJ McCoy spins house and pop mash-up beats guaranteed to keep everyone grooving.
