MANILA, Philippines - GMA 7 welcomes the new year with games, fireworks and stars in its 2010 To 2011: The GMA New Year Countdown in Seaside Boulevard, Pasay City on Dec. 31.
The party starts with a parade of stars and a fireworks display leading to an explosive opening number by Aljur Abrenica, Mark Herras, Paolo Avelino, Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino and Steven Silva with Kapuso singers.
To wow the crowd, GMA also presents performances from The Great American Circus, GMA Tween Royalties, the Sexbomb dancers and Kamikazee.
Kapuso stars get to bond with their fans and viewers through games and surprises prepared to make the countdown fun-filled.
The New Year special also features greetings from Pinoys worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. A member of the audience even has a chance to call and greet loved ones abroad right then and there.
With German Moreno, Janno Gibbs, Gabby Eigenmann, KC Montero and Rico Robles as hosts, the event promises a fun, enjoyable and walang tulugan New Year’s Eve.
Parade of Lights and Stars begins at 8 p.m. while the show begins at 10:45 p.m. with live telecast on GMA 7.
