Viva's new batch of talents

MANILA, Philippines - Five of today’s most promising young women in showbiz get closer to stardom as they were recently launched as the latest faces of Viva Artist Agency (VAA). They are Sam Pinto, Zyrene Parsad, Jeff Gaitan, Meg Imperial and Jill Yulo.

Sam, the charming lady out of PBB House, is fast-becoming a household figure with her appearances on GMA 7’s Party Pilipinas, Bubble Gang and Ilumina. On the big screen, Sam shone beautifully in the hit-remake of Viva Films’ Petrang Kabayo. She is also set to star in the upcoming MMFF entry Agimat ni Enteng featuring the tandem of Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto. In the film she will play the leading lady of Sen. Bong.

Also out of reality-TV, but very much into the current real thing,

is Jef Gaitan who reached the Final 3 of Survivor Philippines Palau last year. She’s also a Party Pilipinas semi-regular and is making men drool over being this month’s cover girl of FHM.

Zyrene, Are You The Next Big Star? third placer, recently hit the news after she was chosen to sing the National Anthem for the much-awaited Pacquiao-Margarito fight. She just released her self-titled debut album touted as a strong first strike.

Completing the female Fab Five are Meg and Jill. Meg is known as QT, resident psychic of TV5’s Midnight DJ. She has been cast for other TV5 shows like Pidol En Wonderland, Driver Sweet Lover and PO5.

Jill, on the other hand, just signed up with VAA and is scheduled to

appear on a mainstream movie care of Viva Films. She was a finalist in Qpids with Alwyn Uytingco whom she later appeared with in the TV series Maria Flordeluna. She also has acted in movies like Tiyanaks and D Anothers.
