MANILA, Philippines - The success of reality TV contestants does not stop from making it to the finals or becoming the last one standing. It is measured by how one can sustain the exposure long after the competition is over.
Majority of the StarStruck five finalists are aware of this and as a result have proven their worth to fans through hard work and careful use of talent. Eight of them, including all top five qualifiers are enjoying visibility in the eyes of Kapuso viewers with their respective shows where they get to display their expertise and charisma.
The final five themselves, namely, Steven Silva, Sarah Lahbati, Enzo Pineda, Diva Montelaba, and Rocco Nacino are regularly seen via GMA 7’s Sunday noontime spectacle Party Pilipinas. Here they entertain and show everyone what made them admirable to fans who voted them to the final stretch of the competition. StarStruck V winners were announced early this year.
As if pointing out that even those not in the top five deserved to be on the list if not for the fact that the seats were limited, Sef Cadayona has likewise joined the Sunday party, being known as a certified dancer himself. Eliminated during the StarStruck a few days before 2009 ended, he has definitely realized that this year is turning out to be more exciting, what with him becoming part of Startalk as a segment host alongside Jan Manual and Chariz Solomon who like him is a StarStruck alumnus.
Interestingly, he is the busiest at the moment among the batch, with additional exposure from Illumina and I Laugh Sabado which airs on Q-11 Saturday nights.
Another is Nina Kodaka, the 21-year-old actress wannabe dubbed the crowd favorite during her StarStruck stint but narrowly missed the final five contenders. She has found the right venue to speak her language with Startalk.
