An affair with silver

Michelis founder Mia Faustmann, daughter Sanya and host Rovilson Fernandez

MANILA, Philippines - Michelis launched An Affair with Silver, a gathering of silver jewelry at the Podium. Striking and dramatic Michelis collections were on display for guests to revel in their elegance and undeniably chic pieces.

“Filipinos are traditionally into gold and silver is seen as ‘not real’, so there is some slight bias,” explained Sanya Faustmann, creative director of Michelis and daughter of founder, Mia Faustmann. An Affair with Silver wanted to show the beauty and artistic quality that you can have with silver jewelry, and that they can be worn during the day and as great accent pieces at night.”

Brand ambassadors who wore Michelis jewelry dazzled the crowd with stylish and elegant earrings, necklaces, rings, long chains and bangles. Hosted by Rovilson Fernandez, guests chose from the displayed Michelis pieces and played dress-up.

A make-up artist and photographer were on standby for an instant makeover and special photo op. Guests who were game posed for the cameras wearing as many Michelis pieces as they could. The most expressive photo will be chosen where the winner takes home all Michelis silver pieces he or she has worn.

“Michelis makes classic-contemporary silver jewelry that’s modern in design, yet timeless in appeal. Anybody, so long as they love jewelry can wear it,” pauses Sanya. Recently back from Europe, Sanya is excited to work with the creative team right away.
