MANILA, Philippines - Representatives of Sterling Paper Group of Companies recently signed an agreement with Yes Pinoy founder Dingdong Dantes, promising to assist the foundation in its goal of empowering young Filipinos through education by providing notebooks and school supplies for students. While the Yes Pinoy Foundation is primarily geared towards giving scholarships to young people, it had also shown its commitment in helping build a generation of Filipinos with compassion and concern for the welfare of their fellowmen during the aftermath of Ondoy.
Thus, the Sterling Group has also pledged to donate rice to provide for the needs of victims in times of calamity through SL Agritech, producer of high-quality Doña Maria rice.
