Inspirational stories in Life and Style

MANILA, Philippines - Show gays and comedians are featured today, 10 to 11 a.m., on Q-11’s celebrity talk show Life And Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes produced by ScriptoVision.

Ricky invited gay impersonators Lola Divas who appear regularly at The Library in Malate, Manila. Habitués of the said videoke-theater joint describe the wacky group as performers par excellence who sing, dance and gyrate in colorful, sometimes out-of-this- world costumes.

“When you watch them onstage you won’t ever think that they encountered trials and misfortune while performing in Japan. As their visas are canceled they did not lose hope and banded together to continue entertaining people in their own country, the Philippines. Look at them now. Their determination paid off and how,” says Ricky.

Also appearing on the show to display rib-tickling antics are Bar Uno’s popular tandem May and Bentong who used to be individual standup comics.
