MANILA, Philippines - Arthur Manuntag (photo) will sing standards by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Matt Monro, Johnny Mathis, Diomedes Maturan and others in Live Radio Show on Nov. 28, 9 p.m. The show will feature veteran radio personality Lito Gorospe. Butch Miraflor and his orchestra will back up Arthur.
His repertoire will consist of songs like The Way You Look Tonight, As Time Goes By, If I Ruled the World, Till, Stranger in Paradise, Come Fly With Me, I Left My Heart in San Francisco and others.
Arthur has sung for Imelda Marcos, Abdul Aziz, sultan of Selangor, former president Joseph Estrada, Chavit Singson, Speaker Prospero Nograles, Helen Dy, and spouses Manolo and Maritess Lopez. He was named Aliw Awards’ Best Performer in Hotels, Lounges and Bars in 2006. He performs at Century Park Sheraton Hotel every Friday.
