MANILA, Philippines - On Nov. 26, InterContinental Manila, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will hold a dinner show titled Lines and Movements at its grand ballroom for the benefit of Center for Health Improvement and Life Development (CHILD HAUS), a halfway house in Manila for sick children from the provinces while they undergo medical treatment.
Tickets at P3,000 net each are on sale at the hotel’s lobby Concierge Desk. Ticket holders will be entitled to a four-course gourmet dinner inclusive of wine followed by a show featuring a 43-piece fashion collection by Ben Farrales and dance numbers by the Bayanihan. A necklace of gold South Sea pearls by Jewelmer will be auctioned off for charity by Maurice Arcache.
Farrales collection will consist of four suites: Filipiniana notably elegant ternos, Muslim Mindanao, European and Wedding (Maria Clara, Muslim and European-inspired gowns). Bayanihan will perform a number from its Bailes de la Calle Anda repertoire.
The hotel will have its Merry Ruby Christmas décor scheme by floral architect and artist Rachy Cuna.
