Moymoypalaboy releases debut album

MANILA, Philippines - With just a mobile phone camera recording themselves lip-synching popular tunes and uploading their videos on YouTube, the two brothers became instant celebrities in the worldwide web. Calling themselves moymoypalaboy (photo), the duo of James Ronald a.k.a. Moymoy and Roadfill were watched not only by Filipinos.

From Mexico to UK, from Colombia to US and Canada, their YouTube views have so far reached more than 32 million hits. With bushy wigs and big sunglasses, moymoypalaboy has attracted a lot of attention and become in-demand on the local TV as well.

However, lip-synching is not just what they do. They also sing. moymoypalaboy, along with its band, has performed in various concerts and corporate gigs that left audiences in stitches.

More people can hear the real voices behind moymoypalaboy as it releases its debut album Uploaded! under Sony Music Entertainment in cooperation with Gastripac.

The album features nine wacky tracks that embody the energy, spunk and vibe moymoypalaboy is known for. One example is Lumayo Ka Man Sa Laklak currently making waves in radio stations. The song adapted the melody of Rodel Naval’s Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin with lyrics of Teeth’s Laklak. Another funny track is Rugby Boy, the duo’s take on Aqua’s Barbie Girl or its version of the ‘80s hit Brother Louie. moymoypalaboy has its own compositions like Ang Anghit Mo, FTW, Chorizo Burrito, and Who Are You Mumoy.

The album contains a bonus DVD loaded with music videos of all the songs.
