Star Cinema’s Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat (ATINL), again starring Ai-Ai delas Alas, topped the 2008 Metro Filmfest (from Dec. 25 to Jan. 7) with a total gross of P171-million.
“It will eventually surpass the record of the first Tanging Ina movie which earned P178-million during its entire run,” said Star Cinema boss Malou Santos. (The first Tanging Ina movie was shown outside of any festival.) “Our projection is that ATINL will gross more than P200-million during its nationwide run.”
