Bocelli's magic

Andrea Bocelli is living proof that the best and most sincere music can transcend music genres. The tenor is now already on his ninth and newest release, Incanto.

Incanto (which means to cast a spell in Italian) is a follow-up to his triple-platinum greatest hits Vivere released last year. The new disc has 14 tracks including Italian classics such as Mamma, Granada and Un Amore Cosi Grande, Funiculì Funiculà, plus new song Un Amore Cosi Grande. Incanto is also a homage to love. It includes songs which have told love stories in music for the past 170 years.

Recently, the world’s eyes and ears were turned to Naples for Bocelli’s performance before 80,000 people. The tenor’s repertoire, drawn from the golden age of Italian music, included timeless Neapolitan classics and other popular songs from Incanto. Bocelli has blurred the boundaries between classical and popular music, proving time and again that it doesn’t matter whatever language you are singing, it is the heart and passion that makes it universal.

Incanto comes in the deluxe super jewel case at P495, and is available in record stores under MCA Music, Inc.
